I’ve been using the iOS version of the app, and I’ve encountered some issues with the floating island and lock screen widget. They tend to freeze indefinitely when I stop a timer. Restarting the app may help to reproduce this. While it’s not a major issue, it does make the app challenging to use for my main purpose, which is time tracking with timers.
If possible, could these issues be addressed? Additionally, it would be great to see some new features on iOS, like the ability to change rounding rules, add folders, and maybe a widget for recent tasks to quickly start timers. The macOS version is nearly perfect, and it would be fantastic to have a similarly polished experience on mobile.
You are right. I am spending a lot more time improving the macOS version. I still have some features I want to add to it. After this, I will work on the iOS app. I have now put the three points you mentioned on my to-do list.
Regarding the bug with the activity extension, I am unable to reproduce it on my device. Could you please try to identify the conditions under which this happens? Also, which method are you using to synchronize with the macOS app (iCloud, DropBox…)?
I used iCloud and it worked ok. Issue with notification stuck is reproduced 100% for me if you first suspend app so you see timer in the top island and on the lock screen and then you kill the app. Timer is still there after app is launched and another one will be created
Also as you considering feature requests, some dashboard with recent tasks would be nice (as widget as well). Something like that is done in the app ATracker. I’m trying to use your app in the same way https://atracker.pro/ . In desktop version you have something similar in menu bar window.
I now get it, thank you! I will fix this bug asap and let you know when the update is available on the App Store.
Timelime had a “recent tasks” today widget before. But Apple kind of stopped supporting those and I removed it recently. The replacement didn’t support interactivity at first, so I didn’t add a new widget. I’ll check out ATracker and see how they do it.
That’s awesome!
Thank you for your feedback! Will check it out when the next version released.
Well widget is not a big deal, it’s just the screen of recent tasks is not very intuitive. It took me a minute to figure out how to start timer (and if there are any timers at all in the app). Otherwise it does the job!
