I find the current semi-random order to be very hard to use. VERY hard.
Also while I am asking why can I not create a timing entry on a specific day? If I am viewing an item on another day that today and realise I need to record a new entry (happens a lot to me as I work on paper initially and back-fill) then everything gets created on today and I have to move it.
While I am asking why can I not right-click an existing entry on a specific date and choose to add a new timing FOR THAT TASK. I can edit, delete or duplicate but not simply add a new timing. If that could happen this app would be a lot easier for me to use…
I understand my use case may not be everyone’s but I don’t think these features would spoil anything for the real-time loggers.
I guess nobody else finds this a problem but still, it should be a really easy change - I find it odd that the task list is NOT sorted or sortable honestly and would LOVE to know if this is just me or if it is actually an issue for other people.

In Timelime you can sort the Task list manually using drag&drop.
In Timeframe (my other more advanced time-tracking app) you can also automatically sort your Tasks by name, creation date, or updated date.

If you right click on a Task in the Task list, you can add a Timing to that Task and choose a date.
You can also drag&drop a Task from the Task list to a specific date on the calendar (middle column) to create a Timing for a specific date.
