Feature Request: Copy all timings from one day to another day

User Story: As a User, I want the ability to copy all of my recorded timings from one day to another day (date selector), so that I can easily render my hours on the copied day when my hours and time spent are the same.

Usability Index: High

Good idea!
In “Timings” view, you can already duplicate selected Timings using the context menu. But they are copied to the same day. I can add an option there that lets you select a different day to copy the Timings to.
What do you think?

Excellent!!! That would work well as I frequently work on the same accounts during a week and have to duplicate the timing and then change the date on it. Allowing the user the ability to select one or more of the timings and then provide a date to copy them to would be a big benefit. The copy to date could default to the date of the selected timings and allow it to be incremented in the same manner as it’s done today (by using the up and down arrows to increment/decrement the corresponding field on the date).

Thank you for considering the enhanced feature. I work for a software company, so I’m keenly aware of product enhancement requests and customer satisfaction.

Would drag-and-drop work to achieve this? It would assume that the day already had entries though or it won’t be in the entry pane, but you could drop them onto the calendar view (which should be fine to do, right?)

Or allow the date to be changed on multiple entries at the same time? (Sounds harder to me but I’m no programmer)

There’s always more than one way to achieve something with computers…

This feature is now implemented in the latest version!
If you select multiple Timings, you duplicate and move them to a specific day. Alternatively, you can also copy and shift each Timing a specific amount of days.

Thank you. This new feature works wonderfully and just what I was requesting. I’ve already made good use of it for tracking my project time.

Thanks again,

Bill Schuyler
